Meet Cheryl, our Creative Director!
With over 25 years of experience, Cheryl’s passion lies in creating effortlessly beautiful hair and helping clients feel their absolute best. As a Wella Master Colour Expert and former NZ Hairdresser of the Year, she’s known for her seamless, lived-in blondes and her commitment to education — both for herself and her team. Since founding Beau Gordon in 2018, Cheryl has led with kindness, creativity, and a deep love for all things hair.
Outside the salon, she’s wrangling three kids, whipping up her famous pork curry, listening to a podcast — or enjoying a cheeky Monday wine with the girls!
EMILY
SALON MANAGER/SENIOR STYLIST
Meet Em – Salon Manager & Lived-In Blonde Specialist We’re thrilled to welcome Em back to Beau as our Salon Manager! After a well-deserved three-month break from the industry, Em returns with renewed energy, fresh perspective, and the same signature warmth our clients know and love.
With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of tone, Em specialises in effortless, lived-in blondes — from soft sunkissed hues to rich, dimensional blends. Her approach is all about enhancing your natural beauty while maintaining the health of your hair.
Now stepping into a leadership role, Em is not only behind the chair crafting dreamy blondes but also guiding and supporting our team to deliver an exceptional client experience.
KAT
SENIOR STYLIST
Kat has recently qualified as a Senior Stylist, and she’s already winning hearts with her fresh talent, creative eye, and genuine care for her clients. She loves making people feel their best, delivering beautiful, personalised results every time.
She’s part of the Wella Assistants Program, working alongside top guest artists in Brisbane, an incredible opportunity to learn from the best and bring fresh inspiration back to the salon.
When she’s not behind the chair, Kat is studying Fashion and Communication, keeping her finger on the pulse of trends and bringing a stylish, fashion-forward edge to her work.
ANNABELLE
SENIOR STYLIST
After more than three years with the Beau Gordon family, Annabelle has officially completed her apprenticeship and is now a qualified stylist.
While naturally quiet and calm, she’s become a trusted sounding board for many of our clients — and seems to attract all the chatty ones! Known for her gorgeous lived-in blonde work and genuine nature, Annabelle has built strong relationships and a loyal following.
When she’s not in the salon, she loves winding down with a good trivia night and spending time with friends.
JADE
EMERGING STYLIST
Jade is a qualified hairdresser who, over the next six months, will be refining her skill set in an Emerging Stylist role.
With a genuine love for learning and a strong drive to build confidence and master her craft, she brings fresh energy, a warm presence, and a keen eye for detail to every client experience. As a blonde herself, Jade has a special passion for creating beautifully tailored blonde results. She’s excited to grow in a salon that values excellence, creativity, and ongoing professional development.
EMMA
APPRENTICE
Emma is a dedicated second-year apprentice with a quiet nature and a strong work ethic. She’s passionate about learning and always eager to grow, whether it’s through hands-on salon training or attending external education courses.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys camping and spending quality time with her family. Her calm presence and commitment to improving her skills make her a valued part of the team as she continues to grow in her hairdressing journey.
JAIME
APPRENTICE
Jaime is our newest apprentice at Beau Gordon, bringing a fresh energy and a true passion for all things hair. After making a bold career change to follow her creative path, she’s now diving into hands-on learning with drive and determination. Jaime is excited to grow her skills with our team and contribute to the Beau Gordon experience from day one.
